Our short story
Gary and I originally owned and showed English and Irish Setters and also showed and bred Gordon Setters whilst living in the NT in the late 70's mid 80's. After they passed over the rainbow bridge we opted for a breed close to my heart and one that my grandparents had in Scotland and also when they moved to Australia.
We have had the pleasure of owning and breeding English Springer Spaniels since 1987 under our old prefix "Kinross". Our three springers were from Dawn and the late Stephen Farmer, Oakspur Kennels, Qld. We were fortunate enough to breed a couple of litters of sound, healthy puppies who had gentle and typical friendly springer temperaments. They brought their owners many years of joy and companionship and lived long and healthy lives.
We returned to the show ring in 2017 with some wonderful dogs from some of Western Australia's premier breeders, Westpring, Sabu and Olbah and have some excellent results showing them both here in WA and the NT. We were very blessed to also acquire our stunning younger dogs from kennel Maketawa, originally from NZ but now based in Victoria. Beautiful temperaments all round.
Our goal is to breed healthy, sound and happy dogs with the typical kind, stable and lovable temperament with the blending of some of the great pedigrees that are available throughout the world.
All our breeding stock will be hip and elbowed scored, PRA and Glucoma tested, DNA profiled, and will be raised in our home.
English Springer Spaniels are fantastic lifelong companions and bring so much joy and love to their owners.
